This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing bids, and supporting preconstruction efforts for multifamily projects within a diverse commercial portfolio.
Gather and distribute bid documents
Review to define scopes of work by trade
Contact and qualify subcontractors
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs
Prepare bid summaries
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for best value
Develop preliminary schedules; and verify post-bid scopes for accuracy

Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction
Proven track record with ground-up projects valued at $40M+
Strong estimating background with attention to detail
Skilled negotiator with experience securing competitive bids
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications
Solid computer proficiency and estimating software experience
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills; spec writing experience a plus
