Music Director (Part-Time)
Antioch East Baptist Church
Position Overview We are seeking God's person to lead our church in worship through music. This position is part-time, approximately 8 hours per week, and serves under the supervision of the Pastor. The Music Director is expected to coordinate efforts with other staff, committees, and ministry leaders. The Music Director will provide musical leadership that is Christ-centered, biblically sound, and fitting for a blended worship style that incorporates hymns, modern praise, choir, and special music.
Qualifications
Able to read music and lead from both choir and instrumental lead sheets.
Demonstrated experience or formal education in leading music ministries and choirs.
Spiritually mature Christian actively growing in personal faith.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must work well with staff, volunteers, and congregation.
Must be in agreement with the doctrine and covenant of Antioch East Baptist Church.
