RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Oakland, CA that is seeking a Data Analyst. This role leads end to end delivery of contractor yard buildouts that support utility field operations. The Data Analyst evaluates utility owned (and candidate) properties, standardizes yard setup processes, and executes buildouts-coordinating cross functional partners (e.g., Corporate Real Estate, Land/Permitting, local crews) and external contractors to deliver compliant, cost effective yards at speed and scale.
Duties
Identify what owned land can be used – build roadmap of available space (determine organization of land, regions, etc.)
If no owned land is available in the area required, are there any active pursuits of property that could be purchased?
Set up a standardized process of how to execute setting up a new yard
Works cross functionally CRESS (Corporate Real Estate and Strategy Services), LEAPS (Land Environmental and Permitting Services), local crews, etc.
Data Analysis
Communicate with multiple crossfunctional teams
REQUIREMENTS
Some finance background/basic financials understanding (CapEx vs OpEx)
Very high-level/basic finance information: Pull monthly budget; Be able to flag issues/discrepancies; Reviewing Spend
Strong Excel experience
Power BI experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
