Marine Experience Manager

– Pursuit Collection Join our dynamic team to lead, supervise, and motivate a diverse crew that delivers outstanding guest service and engagement. Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and motivate a diverse team of 40–50 deckhands and departure facilitators to deliver outstanding guest service and engagement. Develop and implement training programs focused on customer service, interpretive excellence, and safety procedures. Collaborate with captains and marine operations staff to coordinate seamless departures, onboard activities, and guest communications. Monitor and evaluate guest feedback, proactively addressing concerns and identifying opportunities to enhance the onboard experience. Oversee daily schedules, assignments, and performance of onboard staff and departure facilitators. Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Curate and elevate the onboard interpretive program, including wildlife and glacier narration, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and aligned with Mission. Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and continuous improvement among staff. Assist in organizing special events, private charters, and unique onboard initiatives to create memorable guest experiences. Maintain accurate records related to staffing, training, guest feedback, and operational issues. Act as the central point of contact to ensure tours run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Coordinate between crews, maintenance teams, and management to address operational needs. Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. Focus on crew training, scheduling, and performance to foster a positive and skilled team. Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with maritime laws and regulations. Maintain operational efficiency and profitability while delivering optimal guest experiences. About Us
