Paul Davis Restoration of Brooklyn West
As a Mitigation Technician, you support emergency mitigation work following water, fire, mold, and other property losses. You work under the direction of a Mitigation Crew Lead and play a hands‑on role in executing jobs safely, efficiently, and to Paul Davis and IICRC standards.
This is a production‑focused field role. Success in this position comes from reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures in fast‑moving situations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Assist with water, fire, mold, and emergency mitigation work from arrival through stabilization
Perform extraction, demolition, cleaning, containment, and equipment setup
Load, unload, and maintain mitigation equipment and supplies
Follow drying strategies and job instructions set by the Crew Lead
Assist with moisture readings, photos, and basic job documentation
Maintain a clean and organized job site, truck, and warehouse area
Interact professionally with homeowners and team members
Follow all safety, PPE, OSHA, EPA, and company standards
Participate in after‑hours, weekend, and emergency response as required
Pay Structure & Hours
Hourly pay of $17–$24, based on experience and demonstrated performance
Weekly pay
Overtime paid in accordance with New York law
Hours vary week to week based on workload and emergency response needs
Nights, weekends, and emergency availability required
Qualifications Required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Ability to lift 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Comfortable using smartphones and basic mobile apps
Fluent in English
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Prior experience in restoration, construction, demolition, cleaning, or facilities work
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.) or willingness to obtain
Experience working nights, weekends, or on‑call schedules
