Role Overview TP ICAP’s Management Information Division (MID) is responsible for providing financial and strategic business partnering to the firm’s Executive Committee in connection with a wide range of initiatives including overall business performance, business strategy, new opportunities, contract negotiations, cost efficiencies and more. As a MID Associate, you will be required to provide ongoing quantitative analysis and financial recommendations in a highly visible finance role on a variety of projects, including ongoing business performance. This role involves managing multiple projects with guidance and support from senior team members. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations teams, facilitating communication and project coordination across departments. You also will be required to act as a conduit between these groups, and the ideal candidate thus will be able to excel in a multi-tasked, dynamic work environment.

Role Responsibilities

Aid in the preparation of presentations for internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with the Senior MID Associates and Americas Head of MID.

Perform ad hoc financial analysis with limited instruction from other MID team members, including reviewing data, producing models, synthesizing conclusions and developing recommendations.

Collect, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources, translating complex information into standardized formats for review by senior management.

Assist in preparing and presenting financial results for monthly P/L reviews of assigned business divisions, bridging between regional finance teams and business units.

Help front office managers develop new opportunities and manage existing businesses in a manner that is consistent with the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.

Conduct market analysis on industry trends, clients, competitors, new product offerings and external costs.

Identify and implement new processes to achieve greater organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Create and maintain internal general financial and reporting schedules as requested.

Required Competencies

Experience with financial modelling and business case analyses.

Experience reviewing and discussing financial statements, including P&L.

Familiarity with wholesale financial markets and product offerings, including interest rate derivatives, FX, fixed income, equities, and energy and commodities products.

Excellent mathematical, writing, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with high level of attention to detail and proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Experience with project management and cross-departmental collaboration.

Ability to collaborate effectively with others in high-pressure situations as well as work independently in absence of daily supervision.

Desired Competencies

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, OneStream, and Hyperion.

Undergraduate degree in a business-related field (concentration in finance, accounting, or economics preferable).

2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Role Band & Level: Professional, 5

Annual Salary: $95,000 - $105,000
