Tempus Veterinary Recruitment partnered with iHire to fill an Emergency Veterinarian position at a specialty and emergency referral hospital in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
Introduction Our client is a 10,000 sq. ft. specialty and emergency referral hospital providing 24/7 emergency services for cats and dogs. The role offers full‑time overnight and part‑time day shift opportunities.
Working Hours / Rota Hospital open 7 days a week, providing 24/7 emergency services. Full‑time overnight and part‑time day shift schedules.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Emergency Veterinarian will provide urgent and critical care for cats and dogs, managing life‑threatening conditions and complex cases. Clinical duties include emergency medicine, diagnostics, and treatment in collaboration with board‑certified specialists. This role requires a veterinarian dedicated to high‑quality medicine and compassionate client communication.
Practice Details State‑of‑the‑art 10,000 sq. ft. facility with intensive care unit, special procedure rooms, CT scanner, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, Doppler ultrasound, in‑house laboratory, endoscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and long‑term ventilation.
Team Five DVMs supported by highly trained technical staff, including multiple registered veterinary technicians.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold a veterinary degree and additional qualifications to work in the United States.
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in.
Must have the right to work in the United States or be able to obtain the required visa.
