Talent Acquisition Specialist TE Certified is seeking an experienced and driven
Talent Acquisition Specialist
to join our Talent Acquisition Team .
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead recruiting efforts, ensure a high-quality candidate experience, and help us attract top talent across all departments. This role will also play a vital part in refining our hiring processes, supporting strategic workforce planning, and contributing to the company’s continued growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience sourcing and hiring for a variety of roles. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, employer branding strategies, and high-volume recruiting environments is highly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruitment & Candidate Management
Sourcing, screening and vetting skilled professionals for assigned requisitions.
Work as a team to develop and implement recruiting strategies to find top talent.
Conduct phone screenings, assess candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to align hiring decisions.
Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and scheduling of interviews & ride and decides.
Serve as the primary contact person for candidate questions and updates.
Ensure a seamless hiring experience for candidates.
Represent the company at job fairs, career fairs, and industry events as required.
Documentation, Verification & Coordination
Verify all necessary pre-employment and personal documents (ID, work authorization, certifications, educational records, etc.).
Communicate and coordinate with the Hiring Coordinator to ensure timely processing of all documentation and screening requirements.
Maintain accurate candidate documentation and work with HR to ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
Serve as the key member for communications regarding candidates (Hiring Managers, Hiring Coordinator, & HR) to ensure a smooth hiring process.
Contact personal references for candidates and document all responses accurately and timely.
Notify Hiring Managers and Hiring Coordinator of any concerns that come up during the hiring process.
Prepare and deliver all necessary and accurate candidate documentation to the Hiring Coordinator to enable the timely processing of MVR checks, background screenings, and employment verifications.
Process & Collaboration
Maintain accurate and timely updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide regular progress updates to the hiring managers, HR leadership and Hiring Coordinator as needed.
Provides support and coverage for other recruiters and/or Hiring Coordinators during their time off.
Assist in improving recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience.
Support employer branding initiatives and uphold company values.
Obtain approval from HR Director and Marketing on external marketing and social media content.
Build trust and strong relationships with a wide array of people, from potential new talent to senior leadership.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in trades or home services.
Experience in a high-volume or fast-growing environment.
Experience recruiting for a mix of roles (administrative, technical, skilled trades, customer service, etc.).
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
Passion for finding and hiring the best talent
Demonstrated ability to meet quotas
