Job Title Investments HR Project Management Lead — Total Rewards, Change Management & HR Workstreams
Location NYC Home Office – Hybrid (TWR)
Duration 9 Months (Potential Extension)
Job Description The HR Project Management Lead will support multiple high-visibility HR workstreams including Compensation, Benefits, Change Management, and broader HR initiatives. This role will provide structured project coordination, governance support, and cross-functional alignment, with a strong focus on supporting the 2027 HRIS cutover of MacKay Shields into the client environment. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and serve as a key integrator across HR, Technology, and business teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with HR leaders to plan, schedule, and track activities across HR workstreams
Maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, risk logs, dashboards, and documentation
Support governance routines including steering committee meetings, working sessions, and checkpoints
Provide day-to-day coordination for Compensation and Benefits initiatives
Support benefit plan implementations, working closely with HRIS, vendors (Alight, Empower), communications, and technology teams
Assist with analytics, documentation, design sessions, and stakeholder communications
Support change management activities including stakeholder assessments, communications planning, training coordination, and readiness tracking
Collaborate with Change Management leadership to monitor adoption and alignment
Track HRIS cutover activities including workshop scheduling, requirement gathering, and documentation preparation
Act as a liaison between HR, HRIS, Technology, and business stakeholders
Support testing, data readiness, and issue tracking
Translate leadership direction into actionable workplans and status updates
Identify risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities
Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, and presentation materials
Support escalation processes and ensure timely decision-making
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of project or program management experience
Strong experience with project tracking, workplans, and status reporting
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Total Rewards, HRIS implementations, or large HR initiatives
Familiarity with change management methodologies (PROSCI, ADKAR)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance strategic support with hands-on execution
