Key Responsibilities

Consistently deliver exceptional customer service with a positive approach.

Accurately process retail and commercial transactions, including checking and savings deposits, withdrawals, account closings, loan payments, check order, cash advance, draws, stop payments, cashiers’ checks, gift cards, safe‑deposit box, foreign‑currency exchanges, and transfers while adhering to bank policies and procedures.

Adhere to Teller Performance Standards related to balancing, accuracy, customer‑service standards, check cashing, and product referrals.

Assist with opening and night depository duties, end‑of‑day and batch transactions, and maintain documentation files.

Process ATM team transactions and contribute to vault procedures, including coin and currency orders and shipments.

Serve as a personal banker, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high‑quality customer relations, and identifying customer needs to refer appropriate financial products and services.

Maintain cash drawer in accordance with assigned limits, accurately handle currency, and balance the cash drawer.

Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Comply with all company policy, compliance, confidentiality, security, fraud, and regulatory requirements.

Travel to various financial centers within the market and perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of banking experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal communication, both verbal and written.

Ability to prepare or interpret concise instructions and perform routine mathematical functions.

Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.

Proficient in basic computer skills.

Ability to identify needs, goals, and objectives and suggest products and services to meet customer needs.

Ability to respond and assist customers with inquiries and problem‑solving resolution.

Skill to work effectively as a team member.

Desired Skills / Assets

Previous cash handling and/or direct customer service experience.

Experience with cross‑sales or referrals.
