We are partnering with a respected law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team with a particular focus on medical malpractice matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to handle complex cases, gain trial exposure, and grow within a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of plaintiff medical malpractice matters.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case development.
Maintain strong client communication and reporting.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in New York (additional admissions a plus).
2–5 years of experience – ideally in medical malpractice or general personal injury matters.
Strong research, writing, and litigation skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
