Data Center Network Deploy Technician, Infrastructure Delivery
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and every piece of hardware that keeps the cloud running. This role will help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing the capacity our customers need at the lowest possible cost.
About the Role As a Network Deploy Technician you will work independently in a fast‑paced environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks. Your responsibilities include:
Managing work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
Collaborating with stakeholders to remove project obstacles
Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
Specifying power and cooling requirements and ensuring hardware racking/stacking is completed for new equipment
Participating in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
Assisting in capacity management and scheduling support across multiple data center locations
Working closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers
Key Physical Requirements
Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
Work 24/7 in a primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed
Operate in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments
Stand, walk, bend, lift, stretch, reach and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
Ascend and descend ladders, stairs and gangways safely and without limitation
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
1+ year of computer networking experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
Travel Traveling within and outside the regional work area is required.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay may vary based on location, experience, and role. Equity, sign‑on payments, and additional benefits may be offered as part of a total compensation package.
