What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead a team in identifying and evaluating major gift donor prospects to enhance fundraising efforts
Develop and execute strategies for prospect research, data analytics, and business process improvements
Ensure data-informed decision-making and measurable results in fundraising initiatives
Collaborate with various departments to improve engagement and donor relations
Present findings and insights effectively to diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience, including one (1) year of managerial experience
Proven experience in prospect research, analytics, or advancement services
Strong proficiency with CRMs and complex databases (e.g., Advance, Blackbaud, Salesforce)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while exercising professional judgment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s degree in public administration, library science, business analytics, nonprofit management, or related field
Three (3) or more years of managerial experience
Experience in higher education, healthcare, or nonprofit fundraising
Proficiency in predictive modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
Involvement in professional prospect development organizations such as Apra
