What is the position?
Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst or Junior Associate for its Chemicals Advisory group located in New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities:
Evercore’s differentiated approach to advisory provides Analysts with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry‑transforming, multi‑billion dollar transactions around the world. Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking with solid quantitative and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients. Knowledge of accounting, valuation, corporate finance, and business strategy is a must. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm.
The ideal candidate will have:
1‑3 years of investment banking experience
An excellent, team‑based attitude
Relentless work ethic and high energy level
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional attention to detail
Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
Intellectual curiosity and an interest in finance
Eagerness to learn and be involved in complex transactions
Expected Base Salary Range:
