General Liability Attorney

Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Handle a diverse caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution
Conduct depositions, court appearances, and motion practice
Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and reports to clients and carriers
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
Communicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
Develop litigation strategies and provide risk assessments to clients
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
3+ years of general liability or broader defense litigation experience
Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage cases independently and effectively
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
