Responsibilities

Align business vision with Salesforce roadmap.

Evaluate stakeholder feedback and assess current Salesforce usage to identify gaps, pain points, and opportunity areas.

Define a clear, prioritized, and actionable strategic vision and roadmap for Salesforce adoption that links initiatives to business outcomes and measurable success criteria.

Translate the roadmap into a prioritized backlog with acceptance criteria, estimated effort, and business impact to enable execution planning.

Serve as a liaison and visible leader between the working team and executive leadership (including at least one 1:1 with the sponsor and a full leadership validation briefing).

Provide independent validation of recommended direction and make firm, evidence-based recommendations for the resource model required to execute the roadmap (contractor vs. direct hire, required roles and headcount, and estimated investment).

Skills & Experience

Establish sustainable support and governance structures (e.g., community of practice, POCs, monthly progress cadence) to ensure ongoing improvement and adoption beyond the engagement.

Identify and recommend quick wins that are achievable within current constraints and specify which items require stakeholder internal access or additional technical capacity.

Experience aligning Salesforce technologies with both prospect business goals and technical requirements.

Technical and business requirements gathering, and effective positioning of Salesforce solutions to meet those requirements.
