Job Description Our Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) is primarily responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day patient care, supervising, directing, and developing nurse staff. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the supervisor ensures quality patient care within a long‑term care center, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living community. The Nurse Supervisor will manage registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and medical administrative personnel. The Nurse Supervisor shall perform a variety of direct and indirect nursing services to meet the personnel needs and promote the well‑being of the residents in accordance with acceptable nursing practices and the policies of the facility.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current L.P.N. or R.N. registration; within state B.S. degree preferred
Two years’ experience preferred with a minimum one year in a long‑term care facility
Previous leadership experience
