Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a current CA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Intensive Care Unit of an acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
Level II Trauma Center
Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00-07 : 30)
Floating within scope required to other ICU or Telemetry units as needed
Cerner charting system used; prior experience preferred
Weekend shifts are required
No on-call responsibilities
No block scheduling available
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma environment
Must submit all time off requests prior to offer; up to 5 days and 1 holiday off permitted
Scrub attire should not include camouflage or character patterns
Free parking available for staff
Holiday coverage required as assigned
Requirements
Active CA RN license required at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required
Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
First-time travelers accepted
