Position Summary The
Special Education Teacher
will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth. This is a resource teacher / case manager position will have a caseload of between 10 and 12 middle school students with mild disabilities.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
LICENSURE:
Current Minnesota teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)
Desired Skills and Traits
Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting
At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
Commitment to professional growth and personal development
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with high expectations
