Offer Description COMPETITION OPENING DATE DECEMBER 11, 2025
The assistant will participate in research conducted within the project. In particular, they will be involved in technological work related to the epitaxy of transition-metal dichalcogenide layers, structural and optical characterization of the fabricated materials, data analysis, and the preparation of publications and conference presentations.
The candidates have to conform to the conditions stated in art. 113 of Higher Education Law dated 20.07.2018. (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland 2024, item 1571 with further amendments).

Skills/Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in physics and have relevant research experience documented by publications. We expect candidates to have research experience in semiconductor physics and magnetospectroscopy, appropriate experience in experimental physics, including spectroscopic measurements and the technology of layered or photonic materials, as well as a strong interest in research on atomically thin semiconductor and photonic systems.

Additional Information Eligibility criteria
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in physics
The candidates have to conform to the conditions stated in art. 113 of Higher Education Law dated 20.07.2018. (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland 2024, item 1571 with further amendments).
Evaluation Criteria:
The selection committee will take into account the candidate’s experience and scientific achievements, their willingness to engage in the project, and their potential suitability for its implementation.

As part of the employment process, the selected candidate is required to submit the original documents.
The candidates might be asked for an interview with the commission appointed by the Dean of the Faculty.
The entire procedure will be concluded before 15 February 2026. Candidates will be individually notified of the competition results via email.
