Why We Need Your Talents: The Lead Host is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant. Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact: Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant. Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant. Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff. To include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary. Review departmental status with Manager. Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Skills to Help You Succeed: Ability to analyze and interpret operation results. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures. Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation. A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule. Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment. Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner. Qualifications
Must-Haves: Three (3) years’ experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control. Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license. Physical Requirements: Ability to work long hours. Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning. Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms. Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Working Conditions: 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
