ALCIVIA is growing and looking to add a full-time
Field Sales Agronomist
within either our
Fall River, WI
sales territory or our
Markesan, WI
sales territory.
You will work in an environment that values work‑life balance, honest effort, and appreciation for every contribution.
Sales Territory Coverage
Location: Fall River, WI or Markesan, WI.
Territory: Approximately within a 90‑minute drive from the main hub location.
Travel: Daily travel throughout the designated territory; occasional travel for quarterly sales meetings or ALCIVIA events. Overnight travel is not typically required.
Ideal candidate resides within the assigned sales territory.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Type: Salary plus commission, paid bi‑weekly.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Field Sales Agronomist Essential Responsibilities
Build and maintain positive relationships with producer members and customers.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for producers, providing consistent and proactive support.
Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive product sales.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share within the territory.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute promotional activities and sales initiatives.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert product advice.
Maintain an in‑depth understanding of products and services, including technical specifications, applications, and benefits.
Provide customers with detailed product knowledge and technical support as needed.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Promote sustainable practices and products that contribute to long‑term customer success.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on product offerings and sales techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop & Soil Science, Agribusiness, Sales, Ag Management, Agricultural Communication, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a sales or similar role.
Strong understanding of the products and services within the assigned area.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Field Sales Agronomist Working Conditions
May require travel within the assigned territory.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds at any time.
Comfortable working around chemicals and fertilizers.
Working in outdoor conditions.
