Educational Diagnostician – $50/hr – Fort Worth Area, TX – Part-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Educational Diagnostician to provide assessment and evaluation services for elementary and middle school students. This role includes conducting evaluations, managing cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Assignment Details
Location: Fort Worth Area, TX
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: May 28, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 20–30 hrs/week
Duration: 20 weeks
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Modality: In-person
Openings: 1
Responsibilities
Conduct formal and informal assessments, score and analyze results
Prepare and maintain Full Individual Evaluation (FIE) reports
Review outside evaluations and ensure compliance with TEA and federal regulations
Serve as case manager for assigned evaluations
Maintain documentation for Medicaid billing and district systems
Participate in ARD meetings, present assessment data, and assist in IEP development
Collaborate with evaluation team and conduct classroom observations
Requirements
Texas Teaching Certificate and Educational Diagnostician Certification
Master’s degree preferred
Two years of Special Education teaching experience preferred
Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, special education laws, and learning theories
Current CPR (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
