Position Overview We are seeking a versatile and experienced
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
for a 13-week contract at a healthcare facility in Clifton, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work in a comprehensive maternal-child health environment covering Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care. We are looking for a professional who can clear the credentialing process quickly for an immediate start.
Core Responsibilities
Full-Spectrum Care: Support patients through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Nursery Support: Provide essential care and monitoring for newborns in the nursery.
Clinical Monitoring: Assess maternal and fetal vitals, identifying and responding to high-risk situations promptly.
Documentation: Maintain precise and timely patient records using the
Cerner
EMR system.
Collaboration: Partner with a dedicated team of providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
Licensure: Valid Texas RN License or Compact/Multistate License.
Certifications: Must hold current
BLS, ACLS, and NRP
certifications.
Technical Skills: Experience with
Cerner
charting is required.
Flexibility: Ability to work a consistent 7p-7a schedule and integrate quickly into a new team.
Urgency: Candidates who are available to start as soon as possible are highly encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Shift Details
Base Pay: Starting at $65.00/hour.
Overtime & Holidays: Premium rates apply.
On-Call: On-call and call-back pay available.
Charge Duties: Additional differential for Charge Nurse responsibilities.
