Schedule Details : Nights, every 3rd weekend 19:30‑07:30.
Pay Range : $34.90 – $52.35.
Location : Winston‑Salem, NC.
Expectations (Qualifications)
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the individual practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
2 years of ED experience preferred
What You’ll Do
Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and excellent communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
About This Location The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center that provides emergency healthcare for all types of injuries and illnesses, from life‑threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes to flu and viral illnesses. It is one of the first Emergency Medicine training programs in the country and continues to create the future of emergency care through patient‑care research and resident education. The Adult ED offers diverse assignments such as Super Track, Standard Medical, Trauma Bays, Behavioral Health, and the Clinical Decision Unit.
Compensation
Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications and experience
Premium pay such as shift, on‑call, and other pay based on position
