Job Overview
Deer Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (555 Ranch Rd 3237, Wimberley, TX 78676, USA) is searching for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high‑quality resident care.
Hours:
Double Weekend, 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Primary purpose: ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff and establish a positive reputation while delivering on Eduro HealthCare Values.
Responsibilities
Use infection control/prevention techniques in rendering care.
Observe participant diets/diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician.
Provide daily meal service to ensure participants receive meals accurately and timely.
Report inadequate dietary or fluid intake to Program/Health Director.
Assist in the provision of emergency care.
Pass medications as required.
Complete treatments and other care activities as ordered by the physician.
Be personally involved with all aspects of resident care to assess quality.
Report immediately to legal authorities if you suspect abuse or theft of personal property.
Create and maintain a warm, cheerful, enthusiastic, and loving environment, reflecting Eduro HealthCare core values.
Requirements
Licensed RN in good standing in the state of employment.
Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
Complete orientation as required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
Mandatory drug test upon hire.
Free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
Show satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
