Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in McClellan Park, CA! Job Details
Part-time (2 days per week – flexible on what days)
8 hour days
Age group: TBD
Caseload: TBD
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience; $80+/hr
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution
Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs
Responsibilities
Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
Attend IEP Meetings
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
Consult with teachers
Work as part of the Special Ed team
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
