Physical Therapist Assistant – Regency Pacific Management

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in an assigned facility. The primary role involves therapeutic exercise, gait training, functional activity instruction, and documentation. Administrative duties will be performed as assigned. Responsibilities

Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re‑education, gait training, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training. Observes, records, and reports to the supervising PT, the supervising nurse, and/or the physician the patient’s response to treatment and changes in the patient’s condition. Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can participate to assist the patient. Visits patient according to Plan of Treatment; complete a daily note for each visit. Participates in developing the Plan of Treatment as needed with communication with the supervising Physical Therapist. Adheres to Therapy Standards of Practice in the provision of services to all patients. Reports to the Physical Therapist information relating to the patient’s progress, complication, and/or response to treatment. Assist Physical Therapist in performing procedures, tests, and complex treatment to ensure the safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients. Qualifications & Experience

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Washington. Must be able to take direction from registered therapists and other team members to promote patient treatment and safety. Must be able to work independently with periodic (daily or less) support and direction. Benefits
