Maintenance Supervisor
Greetings! We are recruiting for a large apartment complex in West Bloomfield looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. The salary will be up to $75k a year plus full benefits, 401k, and a discounted apartment.
The Maintenance Supervisor safeguards the interests of the owners by maintaining the physical condition of the property and equipment according to company guidelines and standards, protecting the property and equipment from damage, loss and deterioration. This position assesses and directs the service staff and should make recommendations to ownership regarding cost containment and asset preservation.
Our ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, team oriented and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Complete work orders
Make ready apartments
Report to Property Manager
Accept on-call responsibilities (only when short‑staffed and community need arises)
Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
Manage and supervise the Maintenance Staff
Maintain relationships with other staff members
Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the Company or property
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests
Qualifications
Experience overseeing a community of 350+ and a team of 4+ preferred
EPA/HVAC Universal certification required
CPO (Certified Pool Operators) License desired
Experience with community pools required
Full‑time salary position of $69k - $75k depending on experience and certifications
No on‑call responsibilities unless short‑staffed and the community need is there
