Job Description
Provides skilled nursing care to hospice patients in private homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and inpatient units.
Assesses patient conditions and symptoms to determine the need for crisis care.
Administers medication, takes vitals, feeds, bathes, changes clothes and bedding, dresses wounds, and provides other palliative care as indicated in the care plan.
Offers support and education to the patient's family and caregivers.
Communicates with supervisory RN regarding symptom management, changes in patient condition, safety issues, and other patient care concerns.
Qualification Requirements
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Technical/Vocational School (Required) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Driver's License (DL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $20.97 - $38.99
