The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of full-time Deputy Sheriff.
Requirements
Non-certified applicants must be 21 years of age before completion of the Nebraska Law Enforcement training program
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Pass T.A.B.E test
Must be of good character, be free of any convictions of any crime punishable by imprisonment in a state or federal penitentiary for a term of one (1) year or more
Pass the physical agility test as established by the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center
Must meet all other requirements specified by the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.
Pawnee County offers full-time benefits, including competitive wages, updated equipment, retirement, medical insurance for the Deputy and 90% of family premium paid by Pawnee County, vacation, sick time, paid holiday, and a take-home patrol unit.
