Job Summary: A postdoctoral scholar will work on combining density functional theory calculations and machine learning (ML) to model the life‑cycle stability in beyond‑lithium ion batteries.
Education & Experience
Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Experience in scientific programming, atomistic simulations and/or ML.
Experience in LiS coin cell battery synthesis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative research environment are essential.
Job Duties
Performing simulations using quantum mechanical‑based methods implemented in standard software.
Synthesis and preparation of coin‑cell batteries.
Preparation of manuscripts via compiling, plotting, analyzing, discussing, and communicating results.
