Job Summary We are seeking a driven and accomplished Group Sales Manager to join the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. In this role, you will secure and manage group programs ranging from 10–85 peak rooms, cultivate new business, strengthen key client relationships, and maximize revenue across guestrooms, meetings, and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will collaborate with on‑property teams, and Revenue Management to ensure seamless execution of programs while positioning The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe as the premier choice for luxury group travel. This is a highly visible role for a motivated sales professional seeking career growth and global account exposure. Responsibilities
Identify, source, and secure new group opportunities within assigned segments.
Prospect through targeted outreach, networking, and industry events to generate qualified leads.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Develop and execute competitive sales strategies aligned with property goals.
Partner with Revenue Management to design rate and inventory strategies that maximize yield.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt sales tactics.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with planners, corporate clients, agencies, and partners.
Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that balance client needs with brand standards.
Host site inspections, familiarization trips, and client entertainment to showcase the resort.
Collaborate with Catering, Events, Operations, and Marketing to ensure flawless delivery.
Leverage SLH Global Sales partnerships to capture incremental group business.
Provide accurate sales activity reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
Represent the hotel at tradeshows, sales calls, and industry events.
Maintain up‑to‑date pipeline and booking information in Delphi FDC.
Requirements
Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, and communication.
Ability to build, nurture, and sustain long‑term client relationships.
Dedication to delivering exceptional client and guest experiences.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, tradeshows, and industry events.
Prior group sales experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in resort or high‑profile markets.
Proven record of achieving or exceeding group sales revenue targets.
Established network of industry contacts within the luxury hotel sector.
Proficiency in managing RFPs and overseeing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract.
Experience with hotel sales systems (Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Deep understanding of luxury service culture and commitment to the Inn brand standards.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required; hotel sales experience a plus; valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and professional selling skills; ability to negotiate, influence, and multitask independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; well‑organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
