Village Behavioral Health is a psychiatric residential treatment center that offers a full spectrum of treatment options for children and adolescents ages 9‑17. A uniqueness of Village Behavioral Health is that we use nature as part of our therapeutic process. We are nestled in Louisville, TN right on the Tennessee River spread out over 65 wooded acres.
Pay Range:
$15.82 to $19.34/hour depending on education level and experience
Available Shifts:
FT Day Shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends
FT Evenings 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, with rotating weekends
FT Nights 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, with rotating weekends
PRN (as needed) with a flat rate of $15.07/hour plus shift differentials
Shift Diffs range from $1.25 to $4.00 per hour.

Behavioral Health Technician responsibilities:
Providing direct care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
Developing positive, healthy relationships with patients and co-workers
Following facility policies & procedures, implementing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention as necessary
Act as a positive and healthy role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de‑escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture
Hiring Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screen, 7‑year criminal background screen, fingerprint screen, MVR screen, work history and reference check.
