Village Behavioral Health, located in Louisville, TN on the Tennessee River, is a psychiatric residential treatment center offering a full spectrum of services to children and adolescents ages 9‑17 in a unique wilderness setting just 20 minutes outside Knoxville, TN.
Position: Behavioral Health Technician (Full‑Time) This role involves providing direct care and close supervision of facility patients, documenting behavior, developing healthy relationships, implementing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention.
Pay Range
$15.82 – $19.34 per hour (depending on education level and experience)
Available Shifts
FT Day Shift: 7:00 am–7:00 pm, rotating weekends
FT Evening Shift: 4:00 pm–12:00 am, rotating weekends
FT Night Shift: 7:00 pm–7:00 am, rotating weekends
PRN: $15.07 per hour plus shift differentials
Shift Differential $1.25 – $4.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
Provide direct care and close supervision of patients, documenting behavior.
Develop positive, healthy relationships with patients and co‑workers.
Follow facility policies and procedures, implement treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Act as a positive role model by de‑escalating aggression, using active listening skills, appropriate tone and volume, positive reinforcement, maintaining boundaries, and promoting a healthy peer culture.
Hiring Requirements
High school diploma or GED (minimum).
Pass pre‑employment drug screen, 7‑year criminal background check, fingerprint screen, MVR screen, work history, and reference check.
