A respected independent insurance brokerage with deep roots in South-Central New Jersey is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Marketer to join its growing team. With a focus on marketing large accounts, this role is ideal for a professional with strong carrier relationships, deep market knowledge and a consultative mindset, ready to support producers and clients in securing tailored coverage solutions.
Role Overview As a key member of the commercial team, you’ll be responsible for marketing new and renewal business, coordinating with producers and carrier underwriters, and ensuring accurate, competitive quoting. You’ll play a central role in evaluating coverage options, binding policies, and maintaining system integrity—all while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Market new and renewal submissions across standard and excess lines
Collaborate with producers to assess client needs and coverage strategies
Rate submissions via carrier platforms and follow up on outstanding quotes
Compare and validate quotes for coverage accuracy and client fit
Bind coverage and manage binder documentation
Maintain client records in AMS360 and related systems
Support quoting, placement, and servicing workflows across the department
Qualifications
Active New Jersey Property & Casualty License
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial lines marketing
Strong understanding of carrier appetites, coverage forms, and rating tools
Proficiency in Epic, AMS360, or ImageRight as well as Microsoft Excel
Experience rating
Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
