Lead Restoration Technician – Paul Davis Restoration
Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Reports To: Project Manager – Emergency Services
About the Company Paul Davis Restoration is a franchise organization that provides services to cleanup and repair damage to residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm, or other disasters.
Work Hours Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 7:15am to 4:30pm, Optional Overtime included.
Job Requirements and Certifications
2 years or more relevant experience in insurance restoration
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and clean route; transport to work
Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and lift 60 lbs.
Water and/or Mold Certification preferred; IICRC certifications preferred
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in construction or remodeling is a bonus
Must pass background check and drug test
Emergency 24‑Hour Call Rotation
Participate in our 24‑hour call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends as dictated by the on‑call schedule.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead crews with onsite responsibilities.
Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.
Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal.
Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation, utilizing MICA and other proprietary software.
Perform initial loss inspection.
Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc., and perform general demolition after a loss.
Complete pack‑out and pack‑in of customer’s contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
Act as daily on‑site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
Other duties as assigned.
