Position Summary Bridgestone's Passenger and Light Truck Tire (PSR/LTR) and Off Road Radial Tire (AOR) plants located in Aiken County, SC are looking for Machine Technicians (MT). Applicants will be considered for either the PSR/LTR or AOR tire facility.

Competitive Compensation Machine Technicians have starting wages of $24 and can progress up to $34 per hour. A weekly result sharing bonus has been in place since the start of our facility in 1998.

Physical Demands

Manual dexterity to operate buttons, levers, and tire material

Ability to lift 50/75 pounds unassisted throughout the workday

Physical mobility to squat, stoop, bend, climb, and walk

Ability to push/pull 600‑pound carts requiring 30 pounds of force

Correctable vision and hearing

Willingness to work in exposure to weather (hot & cold)

Qualifications

Extremely flexible and comfortable in a team environment

Willing and able to work rotating swing shifts

Willing to learn and operate multiple pieces of equipment

Maintaining expected behavioral characteristics

Preferred Experience 2 years of previous industrial/manufacturing experience and 2 years of stable work history
