Corporate Finance & Accounting Analyst
Base pay range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
Job Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Accounting & Finance Analyst to support our finance and accounting operations. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A, requiring a strong accounting mindset, hands‑on experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between accounting accuracy and financial insight, helping the company make informed business decisions while maintaining rigorous cost controls.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cost accounting analysis, including standard costing, variance analysis, product costing, and overhead allocations.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and provide insights that support key business decisions.
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units.
Collaborate with operations and finance teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
Support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, reconciling accounts and reviewing variances.
Leverage ERP systems and other finance/technology tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Strong Excel skills, including VBA and Macros, and proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools.
