Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team at our office in the West Los Angeles / Sawtelle area of Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor communication.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Perform data entry and maintain organized records in our accounting software.
Collaborate with team members to facilitate audits and financial analysis as needed.
Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing documents and responding to inquiries.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in an accounting role or internship is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho or similar platforms.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
