Audit Senior
to join their team. Known for delivering data-driven audits and collaborative advisory services, this firm supports a diverse client base with tailored solutions and a commitment to excellence.
Position Overview As an Audit Senior, you'll lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality service. You'll work with clients across industries including nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to strategic audit improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
Evaluate financial statements and internal controls for GAAP and regulatory compliance
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings clearly
Develop audit strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
CPA certification preferred
Experience with Not-for-Profit (NFP) and Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audits is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
