We’re seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to join our fast‑paced commercial new construction team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can deliver high‑quality electrical installations while guiding crews and maintaining top‑tier safety standards.
What You’ll Do Lead electrical installations for retail and commercial construction projects Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit (EMT / rigid), lighting controls, power distribution , and specialty retail systems Work with fire alarms, security wiring, and low‑voltage / data systems Ensure all work meets NEC and Florida electrical codes Mentor apprentices / journeymen and coordinate workflow to meet tight project timelines Champion OSHA and Florida‑specific safety protocols on every job site
What You Bring Strong knowledge of the NEC and state / local electrical regulations Mastery of electrical tools, testers, diagnostic equipment , and best practices Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills The stamina and focus to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically demanding construction environment
