Description of Work The Registered Nurse functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team & is responsible for the coordination (to include ongoing assessment, planning, delivery & evaluation) of nursing care for residents living in a home at JIRDC. This care includes administration of medications/treatments, assessment of outcomes & nursing treatment as indicated. The selected candidate must successfully complete the DHHS medication exam and have the ability to independently administer medications & treatments in a timely, accurate manner following the 6 rights. Selected candidates must also successfully become certified in CPR & NCVIF.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) / Management Preferences Salary Range: $58,898.00 – $88,348.00; Recruitment Range: $70,000.00 – $88,348.00; Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 may be offered contingent on 2025‑2026 Budget Approval. Candidates must meet minimum education and experience. KSAs are not required; preferred skills include: ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans; knowledge of medications and physiological effects; ability to communicate information concisely (verbal, written, demonstration); ability to appropriately respond to emergency situations.

Physical Requirements Must be able to successfully perform all functions applicable to nursing on the ADA checklist for all nursing positions at JIRDC. This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of TheThis Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events. Eligibility for Sign‑on Bonus To qualify for the Sign‑on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible.
