As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public and deliver exceptional customer service while responding to security‑related situations. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and or members of the public while representing Allied Universal.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for government locations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities and incidents during each shift.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
