We are inviting applications for the Dietitian role at Medical City Lewisville, part of the HCA Healthcare network.
Job Summary Our Clinical Dietitians coordinate patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
Member of the Nutrition Support Team with pharmacists and physician(s).
Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
Educate patients on therapeutic diets.
Inform aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
Document patient tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
Qualifications
Commission Dietetic Registration.
Licensed Dietitian obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Bachelor’s Degree.
