Day‑to‑day hands‑on molecular and cellular biology experiments, following protocols, calibrating equipment, and quality checking reagents and samples. Perform small rodent surgeries, post‑surgical care, and required histological analysis. Maintain meticulous lab notebooks and documentation to ensure reproducibility and integrity of all results. Manage laboratory supplies, equipment, and organization of samples and reagents; stay informed about new developments in relevant scientific techniques. Communicate progress, challenges, and results clearly to the principal investigator and research team; contribute to troubleshooting and optimization of experimental protocols; assist in preparing data for reports and publications. Supervise student employees, including hiring, training, disciplinary actions, and ending assignments. Qualifications
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Neurobiology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology. Required experience: Basic neuroscience and cell biology knowledge; molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry techniques. Preferred experience: Hands‑on research experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, or a related discipline. Application Instructions
