Resident Care Coordinator
Effective management of resident services in accordance with company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Reports to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
Comply with community personnel, safety, and corporate policies.
Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately.
Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
Ensure timely arrival to work as scheduled.
Supervise compliance with total patient care policies (meal service, activities, housekeeping, laundry, personnel, public relations).
Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with State and Federal admission requirements.
Assist with Negotiated Service Agreements and periodic reviews.
Participate in personnel selection, orientation, and monitoring of staff competence.
Maintain communication with physicians and pharmacy as required.
Essential Qualifications
Valid professional license (LPN or RN) in good standing.
Valid CPR certification.
Basic computer skills.
Monthly worksite attendance.
Work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays as necessary.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to use a transfer/gait belt or obtain assistance when lifting residents over 25 lbs.
Ability to assist in evacuation during emergency situations.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 10 lbs frequently; lift 11‑25 lbs rarely; lift 26‑50 lbs rarely; lift over 50 lbs rarely.
Carry up to 10 lbs occasionally; carry 11‑25 lbs rarely; carry 26‑50 lbs rarely; carry over 50 lbs rarely.
Reach at shoulder height constantly; reach below shoulder height frequently.
Push/pull constantly; hand manipulation constant; twisting, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, crouching, climbing and balancing required.
