Job Summary Do you have the PRN career opportunities as a(an) House Supervisor PRN you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join St. David's Georgetown Hospital which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

As a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating intradepartmental and interdepartmental functioning of the hospital. You will be responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing performance and activities related to the care and treatment of patients within the hospital on a specific shift.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the assignments of patients to specific units

Assign nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospital

Act as the official representative of management and administrative staff of the hospital in their absence

Assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and special needs of each unit

Qualifications What qualifications you will need:

Minimum of (5) years of clinical practice, (3) of which have been as a Charge Nurse or similar management role

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN)

Completion of or actively pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
