Hudson Valley Dental TMD & Facial Aesthetics LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a leader in TMJ Pain, Botox, IV sedation, and All on X, we value teamwork, talent, honesty, and dedication. Under the medical direction of board‑certified Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine, Dr. Leon D James, DDS, MBA, MS, our staff is highly trained to address any dental concerns.
Daily Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis and fluoride treatments Conduct periodontal charting and scaling & root planing Assist chairside with procedures and provide oral hygiene instruction Take digital X‑rays and administer local anesthesia Utilize VELscope and DIAGNOdent for oral examinations Required Skills
Registered Dental Hygienist with CPR/BLS certification Experience in periodontics and preventive care Proficient in sealants, nitrous oxide, and anesthesia Ability to perform X‑rays and provide preventive treatments Strong communication skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Skills
Familiarity with dental software systems Experience in cosmetic dentistry Knowledge of dental implants and restorative procedures Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary ranging from $40–60 per hour, based on experience. We offer flexible schedules, vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay to support your work‑life balance. Days
