Position Summary:
Provide direct, 1:1 assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children diagnosed with autism spectrum or related disorders. This position will assist the BCBA or BCBA‑D with case management responsibilities to include graphing data and preparing daily progress notes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans under guidance from a BCBA or BCBA‑D/Licensed Psychologist.
Collect and graph data daily, and prepare progress notes.
Deliver one‑to‑one therapy and crisis intervention as needed.
Maintain a calm and patient demeanor during challenging situations.
Adhere to the principles and mission of the Institute and collaborate with caregivers and service providers.
Required Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent.
Less than 1 year of related experience; minimum six months working with children.
Registered Behavioral Technician licensure or ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Prepare, collect, enter, and graph data using computer programs.
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
Remain calm and patient during challenging situations.
Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, caregivers, and other service providers.
Establish organizational systems and time‑management strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant coursework or specialized training related to behavior analysis.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Salary Range:
$18.990 – $28.510 per hour (Hourly)
Appointment Type:
C2 – REG OFF/SERV HRLY
